Please remember that Insul-Bright is HEAT RESISTANT, NOT HEAT PROOF. When making pot holders, hot pads, etc., please use a double thickness of Insul-Bright. Directly from The Warm Company is the following statement: If your pan is above 400 degrees Fahrenheit, use two potholders. Insul-Bright is NEVER to be used in the microwave!!
