Bosal 2.5" Grid, fusible, is amazingly helpful when planning a watercolor quilt, bargello, Irish Chain, Boston Commons, or any project where you are using 2.5" squares and want to be very precise in your placement. The Cross photo above was made using the watercolor grid.
You can preview, rearrange, preview again, and repeat as often as you wish - so long as you don't fuse them into place! Once in place, cover with a soft cloth and fuse your pieces into place. Turn over and fold on the dotted lines, and sew your 1/4" seam. Once you are done in one direction, flip it 90 degrees and fold and sew in the other direction. Perfect!!
